Colic, Wind, Reflux and Constipation

Theses are all common conditions that mothers go to the doctor for. These conditions are normally experienced with abdominal pain however you may see signs of difficultly winding, vomiting, constipation, back arching and inconsolable crying. The reason for Colic is not known but there are many theories. Again the nerve to both the stomach and diaphragm emerge at the base of the skull and neck which can be compressed during delivery resulting in distortion of the diaphragm and compromising the digestive system. Another theory is that of an immature digestive tract.
